How To Get A Higher Paying Job Offer

A young man goes for a job interview and is asked what he is seeking. He tells the hiring manager, "What I expect is $85,000 a year, an office, assistant, six weeks paid vacation, and a Jaguar."

"Okay," the interviewer goes on, "Actually what would you say to $110,000 a year, all those benefits, but with a full eight weeks vacation the first year?"

"Wow!" said the young man. "You must be kidding?"

"I am," replied the interviewer. "But you started it."
