Lawyer's Brains Don't Come Cheap

A woman needs brain surgery and is told that she needs two pounds of brain. She can have two pounds of math teacher brain for $500, or two pounds of doctor's brain for $1,000.

She tells them her Dad was a lawyer and she would prefer lawyer's brains. They inform her that the fee would be $12,000.

"What? $12,000! Why is the lawyer's brain so much more expensive?" she asks.

The surgeon replied, "Do you know how many lawyers it takes to make that much brain?"
