Rabbits Multiply, But This Is Addition.

Little Johnny's teacher called on him in class and asked him, "Johnny, if i give you two rabbits and then two more rabbits, how many will you have?"

"Five," Answered Johnny.

"No, not five, listen carefully," the teacher continued. "If I gave you TWO rabbits and then gave you TWO more rabbits, how many would you have?"

Again Little Johnny quickly replied, "Five!"

"Okay, let's try a different question. If I gave you two pencils and then gave you two more pencils how many would you have?" Johnnys teacher continued.

Johnny answered, "Oh, easy, four pencils."

"So if you have four pencils why do you keep thinking you would have five rabbits? It's the same math," Johnny's teacher said.

Johnny answered, "I already have one rabbit at home!"
